Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
There's something simply delightful about a jaunt to the local funfair, aside from the sickness induced by eating candyfloss followed by a nauseating trip on the Waltzer. It's old fashioned popcorn from an old-fashioned popper, usually propped up by some wizened old man, lit from inside and smelling deeply aromatic. The corn, that is, not the old man. So here's what. At gadgetshop HQ, we're managed to bring one back from the dead, reverse engineer it and shrink it down to a fraction of its original dimensions so it sits handily on your kitchen worktop. Now you can pop away to your heart's content. Pop on a DVD. And pop on the sofa for a truly authentic cinematic treat. The really rather marvellous thing about this particular contraption is that it uses warm air to pop the corn, rather than the combined effects of direct heat and a sugar coating, so it's healthier, too. They've even thoughtfully provided a kernel-measuring dispenser for truly accurate popping. Just add your favourite kind of popcorn - there should be plenty to choose from down at your local supermarket. Then next time Jonathan Ross comes round for a quick blast of The Sound of Music, you can both pop til you drop. Or should that be 'dwop'?
