Excellent waffle maker! January 6, 2009 I received one of these waffle makers as a gift for Christmas. It is very sturdy, cooks lovely waffles and we have been having plenty of these since Christmas, even freezing then toasting the left-over waffles as a quick breakfast on school mornings when don't have enough time to whip them up from scratch. This waffle maker comes with a small recipe book with a handful of waffle recipes to get you started; I especially like the cinammon brown sugar waffles it suggested. The only reason why I did not give this review 5 stars is because it has temperature/browning levels of 1-6; perhaps it is just my particular waffle maker but I have never needed to go beyond level 2 for cooking; waffles are quite golden by then, so not sure how dry/overcooked level 6 would make them. However, this is a very good waffle maker to use and I am happy to recommend it.

This is a first rate waffle iron. Well designed, aesthetically pleasing and so far the waffles it has served up are delicious. Very happy to recommend it!
