Great quality chopping boards, grab 'em at sale price! July 14, 2007

I've recently purchased three Epicurean chopping boards. One large one (15 x12") on sale in Amazon, and based on the quality of that one I got two further in this 12"x9" size via my milkman (of all people!) as his dairy was selling them at 11.50.
All I can say is that these are the best chopping boards I've had. I'm no gourmet cook, but these are used every day at home and I think the quality of them is great. Having used them for 2 months now I'd always buy these...and I'd pay the full price, they are worth it.I have thrown out my warped cheapo IKEA boards, there is just no comparison.
They feel very solid, yet they are not heavy. Both the black and the natural colours look great, they wash really easily, and don't harbour bacteria (unlike conventional wooden boards). As they are heat resistant, you can also use them to stand hot pans or serving dishes on. So far they don't appear to be showing any knife marks.
I've had no problems with warping or curling up at the corners as another reviewer mentioned.
I don't have a dishwasher, so can't comment on how dishwashing may affect their appearance/performance, but all in all they are a great quality product that I think will last for years.

I have bought two of these boards in different sizes, and am really pleased with them, very good product and look good as well
